DeLonghi A120 12,000 btu ar conditioner Leaks when on AC. Have cleaned out filter and drained reservoir. Cannot get at reservior to clean it throughly
OK. This fixed my A120LE from leaking. First unplug the machine for
safety. If you are looking at the back of the unit you need to take off
the right side panel. I took off the all the panels but you could just
take off the right side.
There is a reservoir on the top that collects condensation from the top
coil. (shown in the circle) The drain hole on mine was clogged. If you
stick a small screwdriver or paperclip in the hole to push the debris
through it should start working properly again. I did this to mine
yesterday and it hasn't leaked since!! Drain hole is shown here in
close up picture. Unclogging this will allow the condensation to flow
down to the main reservoir on the bottom where it will be evaporated in
the AC exhaust.
