They are what they call "generic" codes. Some OBD11 or OBD2, "same thing", generic reades will give a $7E8 and $7EA. together and maybe a $7E9.
These are for a submenu. Click on each one separately and you should or might get a regular "P0" code if your scanner
has the supported module. If not either get a better scanner

First check the tightness of your gas filler cap as this can cause the codes to set. To erase the codes you will need a scan tool or code reader . Check the wiring and connections for the EVAP vent solenoid . Fuel tank pressure sensor may be bad .

small trucks like that are considered 1/4 ton. silverado 1500 1/2 ton an silverado 2500 3/4 and up. same goes for gmc

try keeping the gascap tight

Code po449 is the canister vent valve solenoid error.This is a common problem with these valves because they are under the truck in the rear by the spare tire and they get all the dirt and water and snow,if you live in an area where you get snow.You will find it on the canister under the vehicle by the spare tire.
