Question about Craftsman Garden
Tilt the mower back in a direction that brings the front (spark plug end) of the engine up and the back of the engine down if possible. This keeps the oil from going places it doesn't need too.
Under the deck of the mower you will find the blade bolt It will be in the center if the blade and should be a hex-head bolt Around the 1/2 " size. You will need to either jam the blade where it can't turn the motor while you attempt to loosen the blade bolt or enlist a helper wearing gloves maybe to hold the dull side of the blade still (if you can't hold it yourself). For easier removal of the blade bolt the next time around, coat the threads with Permatex Anti-Seize Dry Graphite Compound. You won't have it stuck or rusted next time.
