Sounds like you have a bad memory module. Test them one by one to discover the faulty one.

1. Do you have a backup of your quickbooks from before this started happening? If yes, try opening the backed up quickbooks file.

2. Uninstall Quickbooks 2009 completely, then reinstall it and check of updates and install all of them, then try it again.
