Question about T-View TView (DVD170TV) Motorized 7" In-Dash Widescreen TFT/LCD Monitor with DVD Player, AM/FM/TV Tuner and... Car Video Player
There is a wire that you are supposed to hook up to your emergency brake or another source to let it know your are parked. That same wire usually relies on a ground. I just grounded mine to a good ground under the dash and it worked great. Hope this helps and good luck!

Try connecting the safety ground wire to the ground wire behind the radio it works

never done it on that particular model but, have you tried hooking the parking brake wire (coming out of the unit) to ground and running a switch to it? The way it usually will work, when the screen appear telling you to put in in park just flip the switch on for a few second the off for a few seconds then back on again. Sometime just grounding it works.
