There are 2 battery feeds to your radio.

The main one via the Ignition Switch controls switching the radio ON/OFF

The other one is a permanent connection that feeds the memory chips on your radio.

It is this second/permanent feed that is missing.

Check fuse, wiring and connectors

When I start my car and I turn on the radio all my stored radio station is erased and this is starting to happen all the time I start the car. Please advise what's going on with my car... Thanks!

Check your fuses. The radio needs residual power to keep the memory alive. When you shut the vehicle off it isn't getting that power so the memory gets lost.

My friend has a citroen AX in which we now have a working radio, only issue is that it doesn't remember any stations stored.

There are 2 battery supplies to the radio,.

The main one via the ignition key circuit for the radio itself.

The other one is a permanent battery feed to the radio memory.

It is this second (permanent) feed that is missing.

Check the fuse, connectors + wiring to see if there is anything obvious.

If you have a multimeter or test lamp then that can be used to prove the problem

When you locate the stations and store them then leave the car for any period of time or turn radio off, all the stations you previously stored have all disappeared and you have to retune again!

Sony cdx-gt100 cd player radio stations are not storing,i have stored them all but as soon as you turn the ignition key,the stereo has lost all stored stations.thanks for any help

You will need to check the yellow wire of the stereo. This wire must have +12 volts even with the key off. Be sure it has a good connection.

Trouble storing radio stations

IF this aftermarket fitted then the ignition live and permanent live feed to the stereo are configured round the the other way on the head unit.i think it may be the red wire and yellow wire need swapping.

Stored radio stations and time erase when car is turned off

The radio was installed incorrectlly. Make sure the red wire from the radio is connected to a switched 12 volt source(has voltage when car is on, none when it's off) The yellow wire to a constant 12 volt(hot at all times) this wire mantains the radio memory and must always have power.

Stored settings and auto eject

Hi. SOunds like another case of power problems. Your deck has 2 power wires. One is yellow th eother is red. One is constant 12 volt battery power, the other is a switched 12 volt power, only has power with the ignition key on or on accesory. Get yourself a test light. I almost bet you do not have the constant 12 volt power to the deck, therefore your deck cannot hold its presets...

Volume, Display and FM stations missing?

This could be a bad ground on the radio, or you have serious circuit problems. if a fuse blew, the radio would not work at all. Check the installation first, replace the radio seconds. Good Luck
