Red your manual. There are TWO tanks to empty. Facing the unit there is a tank on the right side to empty. After BOTH tanks are empty, start the unit. The red light will be off and the Air Conditioner will work.

What does it mean when it says bucket full?

These condition units come with an internal removable bucket to catch the water from the condenser unit..and will shut off when full..must be emptied...should be on the bottom and hold about two gallons or so..should be easy to find..good luck.

Air conditioner wont work

When the STOP indicator light turns on, the internal water tank has filled with condensed water and the air conditioner will turn off automatically. You can drain the internal water tank by removing the plug on the back of the unit, be ready for a lot of water to come out of the unit. The unit will shut down when the water pan is full. This condition may occur either when the unit is operated in high humidity conditions, or when the unit is being operated in HEATMODE, since the auto-evaporation function will not work in the heating mode. I hope this helps, have a great day, Andy K.

Water is draining out the bottom of my unit, and I do not know how to drain the water out.

Ther is a drain plug on the back of the unit. I believe it's on the left side, down near the floor. Put a shallow sided pan, large enough to handle 2 cups of water, under it and unscrew the cap. The water will drain into the pan. Be Sure the Master ON/OFF Switch is OFF & the unit is unplugged before attempting this.

Remove the water tank and look or feel up to where the float is at and see if it is stuck in the raised position. This is what is keeping the light on and not letting the compressor start.
