Question about Cell Phones

How do i download photos from the actual memory on my blackberry (not fron the memory card itself). When I first took photos using the blackberry, the memory card was not quite in place and so the photos went on to the ''hard drive'' memory. I can see the photos on the balckberry but cant download them. As they are a wedding I dont want to lose them Model is BLACKBERRY BOLD 9700. I have downloaded all the other photos with ease but not those I first took. My Blackberry desktop manager and help cannot assist.

You need to plug the blackberry into the computer and make sure 'mass storage mode' is on(options, settings, memory, mass storage) it will treat your BB as an external hard drive and allow you to get photos, video, music, etc off device memory

How do you download pictures from the camera memory to the memory card ?

There's a "Copy" command in the Memory Stick Tool menu you can use to copy photos from internal memory to memory card. For full details refer to page 52 of the manual.

Can't get pictures off of my camera

TRANSFERRING PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

How do i recover data from a memory card that has been formatted

Deleting or formatting won't make the data in memory card erased permanently.

Those deleted data is still stored on the memory card , it's just invisible or inaccessible. So as long as those data are not overwritten by new data, it's highly possible to recover them. And the MOST Effective way is to rely on format recovery program.

Try asoftech data recovery program, which can recover data after deeply scanning the memory card to look for lost data you accidentally deleted or formatted. download it from

Memory card filled and I took more pictures. Seemed to put those on the internal memory. What happened too or how can I recover the memory card pictures?

Probably one of two solutions.
First, the memory card should have all the pictures intact. If you are using the camera to review, you may need to just keep going back until the memory card photos show.
Another possibility is that the internal memory supersedes viewing the card memories. You may have to run a USB cable to your computer, download the internal memory photos, and then you can possibly see (on the camera) the memory card photos. It might be a good idea to download those photos to your computer too, if the computer has a memory card slot. Otherwise you will have to go through them and download via the USB again. Once you know the photos are saved, you can either change cards with a new one , or clear the old card and start again.
Good Luck

My Samsung S630 won't connect to the computer so that I can download photos taken. Any clues as to the problem?

Problem with the actual cable, the USB port being used on the computer, or the actual connection on the camera itself. The quick fix would be to take the memory card out of the camera and purchase a cheap memory card reader that you can put the card into and the PC will read that fine. From there you can copy the images over and even delete them. It reads like a jump drive.

Prices start about $10.

Sounds like you're switching the same card between cameras. Rule #1...one card per camera. Format the card in the camera it is to be used in. There is no Rule #2.

Faulty Memory Card

Sounds like the file allocation table on the card got screwed up. Try Googling Compact Flash Data Recovery. I know you're not using compact flash cards but the techniques for data recovery are pretty much the same regardless of the media. If and when you're able to recover what you can, I wouldn't use that card anymore myself. Good luck!
