If this problem is just with that umd, than it is just that umd, if it is all of your umd's, then the umd drive within the PSP has gone bad.

PSP HOME KEY KEEPS COMING ON

The game case is not needed to run the game. Usually when you have the problems like you are experiencing you simply need to clean the disk in the case. You can sort of pry it apart to clean any finger prints off of the game disk. A single finger print is all it takes to prevent the game from running.
If you are unable to get the game cover apart try to use Windex on a soft cloth to remove the prints.

PSP doesn't read any games...

make sure the case around the game is not broken. if it is not, go to best buy and ask them to see your UMD slot. If you have a warranty, use that .ask the best buy from where you got it from if you have a warranty. if you dont ,ask them if you could get one. then, tell them what happend and you will surely get a new one.

My psp will not read disks

Put a umd inside wait a sec or two open and check if there is a red light, den the lens is fine its most likely that your cd has been scratched. Try using dev-hook or a custom firmware to read games from memcard
