Toshiba 3LCD Projector - No image from the computer
I am unable to project images from laptop via my projector. The green lights come on when the projector is switched and the Toshiba logo is projected on to a screen. However, the computer does not seem to be recognised by the projector or vice versa. The projector light is on but does not seem powerful enough. What is wrong ? Do I need to do something?

Many projectors shut down if they cannot find anything attached to them.
Make sure you have a computer attached and sending an image out to it before you hit the projector reset button again.
It's a bit like the chicken and the egg since some laptops won't send an image out the cable unless it senses a projector, and the projector shuts down if it does not detect an incoming signal fast enough.
Have never worked on a panasonic projector before I admit, but you get that effect when the 3 LCD panels inside a Sharp (and I assume all brands) LCD are misalligned. To get total black (LCD Projectors find this rather difficult due to the technology) the red , blue and green lcd pixels must be precisely allignend ( they are adjustable by technician and it's a fiddly job) I reckon the green panel is a touch out and it's peeking out between the red and blue squares.
Right click on desktop Select Properties Go to Settings You should see 2 boxes - one with a big #1 and another with a big #2 Click on the number 2 Select "Extend my desktop to this device" Should bring up your video
A pink image normally means a loss of green signal. If you are using Computer input you should try replacing your input cable to see if this is the problem. If it is pink with video also then the projector most likley has a internal problem.
ghosting or convergance issue is what u have. if the image is in diff colors then deff a convergence issue. however, if the image isthe same color or shaded from the original then this is ghosting. this may be corrected through the menu settings(sinc settings).
Have you tried pressing Fn F5? On my system (HP), by computer monitor goes dark when I connect the projector. Pressing (Function) FN F5 toggles the video between Computer Monitor, Projector, or Both.
Check the function settings for your computer. On my Compaq laptop at home, the video function is F4, so there may be different settings for your computer.
