Question about Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SBT Top Load Washer
My washer worked ok for the first couple of years. Although, my wife complains that is does not clean as well as our previous 14 year old machine which we gave away in working condition unfortunately.
For the last couple of months it will not wash a load without going into an Unbalanced condition, with loud banging, multiple times. Re-arranging the items does not help. It makes no difference if the washer has a small or large load.
There is liquid in the top ring that can be heard sloshing around when the ring is spun.
It is not a User Problem as we have been able to competently operate it for a couple of years.
I have raised the cover, and except for significant rust on the frame, all looks normal with the suspension.
The washer also leaks although all the hose fittings are secure.
Is a repair manual available on-line?

Remove washer cabinet (easy to remove)and check that "base pads" (there are 3 pads, located under the main tub)are not worn. In case they are worn (even one of them), you should replce them all. Good luck !!

SOURCE: Water Leak
is the pump gray or white? if it is gray then replace it.look where the pump mounts to the ,otor and see if there is a black line coming from the middle.this is probably where your leak is.
just change the pump.
