Make sure that the correct playback device is set as default in sound properties.
If all is well there then you could try a pair of headphones to see if the sound is working.
If headphones work ok then it is down to your built in speakers, not much you can do unfortunatly unless you are still under warentee

How do I use an SD card reader on a Lenovo tablet?

Sometimes when you insert sd card into a card reader, the card reader will not always work, I have had problems like this, so either try another USB port on the computer, or clean the contacts on both sd card & card reader.

My sound is not loud enough on my rca 9" dual core tablet model"RCT6691W3, and volume is on max

Some devices just suck at audio. I have a Lenovo laptop that does the same. Bad onboard speakers require external speakers to produce suitable sound level.

My tablet has no sound why?

Lots of possibilities. Most likely something is wrong with the headphone jacket. If a contact is lose or something came between it, it could block the throughput. Then you could have switch sound of, or even the speaker or amplifier is defect. Try a headphone to see if you hear something through there. When you get sound through the headphone, only a bad connection and a bad speaker are left. If the head phone does not work, it could be a bad connection or a defective amplifier.

Sound won't differentiate between right and left speakers on headphones

Check if 'Mono Audio' is on (you find it under 'Settings', 'General', 'Accessibility').

Installed a new router and now my speakers don't work. How do I fix this?

The router change shouldn't have any affect on your sound or your speakers. You need to start checking things out. Is sound accidentally shut off at the speakers?? Have speakers came unplugged at back of computer?? Has the sound been mistakenly shut off at the keyboard?

Hi there! this might work :)
1.Click once on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the laptop screen on the task bar to open the volume control.
