I have a Miele Dryer T1413. It stopped working. Light stuck in "Anti-cease/End". I could not select any other program or option. I noticed that when door is closed, the internal ligtht is still on. I think the door lock/switch/sensor is bad. How do it check the door lock/switch/sensor? How do it take it out? Anyone knows the part I may need to replace it?

    Thanks,

F your dryer doesn't work at all, it could be because of problems with:

Power from the house
Door switch
Thermal fuse
Wiring
Power from the house Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? If you plug something else into the outlet, does it work? If not, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.

Door switch If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch.

Thermal fuse On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse (a heat-sensitive fuse that blows if the dryer overheats) mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse is about an inch long. It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing.

If the fuse has blown, it has no continuity. When this happens, your dryer either just stops heating, or it doesn't work at all. Be sure to inspect the venting/heating system before replacing the fuse to put the dryer back into operation. (You can't re-set this type of fuse.)

Wiring Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, burns and the connection breaks. In this has happened to your dryer, you need to replace the power cord and the terminal block inside the dryer to which the wire is attached.

Have you tryed to unplug the dryer.

The parts catalogue can be found the service manual of the product. Althought I have no idea witch parts would need to be replaced.

If all of the buttons have frozen, is there a way to reset the washer? If not, how old is the washer, maybe after years of hard use it is time to buy a new one?

Just purchased 2nd hand Miele novotronic w310. Does machine automatically stop? Cycle ends, anti crease light on and machine just tumbles clothes makes odd noise, then tumbles again. Is the normal?

NORMALLY WHEN A DRYER COMPLETES IT'S DRYING TIME IT WILL GO THROUGH A COOLING DOWN CYCLE,
DRYER WILL START TURNING WITH FAN ON ONLY FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN STOP, AFTER A SHORT PERIOD IT WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL UNIT HAS COOLED DOWN, HOPE THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE EXPERIENCING
GOOD LUCK

Anti crease light stuck on and dryer won't work. Have tried power off for 24 hours, but still stuck.

Sounds to me like a logic board problem. 24 H power down would have fixed any transient problems. So it is a hard failure This means a sensor, or a processor failure. I think it is a processor board.
Good Luck,
Pete

Hi - miele dryer won't heat up and the anti-crease light is flashing when I select any programme. Have replaced the NTC sensor but it hasn't made any difference. Can anyone help? thanks

ELECTRIC Dryer no heat or little heat:

Check your venting and lint basket. Check blower for lint build up and blower wheel obstruction., test by trying to turn the wheel manually by hand (should be easy) May have to remove cabinet or front/back plate to get to it)

Next check the heating element itself with a meter for continuity OHMS CLOSED CIRCUIT. If not its defective.

Check dryer Terminal block prongs both outside prongs should give combined 220, and 110 each if u check 1 outside & 1 center (ground) prong. Also check house electrical outlet for full voltage. 220 because if u only get half or 110 volts you will be able to run the machine which uses only 110 to run motor but not the heater which uses a full 220,

Check the thermal cut off, the cycling and the hi limit thermostats.
For continuity or OHMS. If no ohms or resistance they need replacement.

Lastly check your moister sensor. ( located inside the dryer door usually) Especially if machine seems to shut down early and clothes are still wet.
Test with a meter at room temperature and it should show continuity.

Aeg electrolux dryer

Displaying the alarm code

The alarm code is displayed by a repeated sequence of flashing of the ANTI-CREASE/END OF CYCLE LED (0.4 seconds on, 0.4 seconds off, with a pause of 2.5 seconds between sequences). The buzzer emits a series of ,bips" in synchronization with the flashing of the LED.

  • ANTI-CREASE/END OF CYCLE LED: indicates the first number of the a alarm code
  • START/PAUSE LED: indicates the second number of the alarm code
Now you must count how many times the LED lit up and we will know the fault code.

Flashing rinse light on meile 864 and anti crease/ finish light comes on.

If you are sure that you made no mistake in mounting the brush cap back on the motor (check the four pins), most probably the electronic EL200 is defective.
This happens often in this type of machine when the shock absorbers are worn (after 10 years).
You can check this by measuring the continuity in the little 6.3A fuse that is on the EL200. If it is blown, you may get the PCB repaired for 55 Euros + shipping (see link below). You also have to replace the shock absorbers (32 Euros) to get a full year guarantee.

The dryer is showing anti crease on the LCD. What can i do to reset or fix the problem.

have you tried disconnecting the power for about 15 minutes to see if it clears
anti crease refers to the dryer continuing to tublme for about 10-15 seconds every 5-10 minutes so when cycle is complete the clothing doesnt just set there where wrinkles can set in ,it tumbles after end of cycle to prevent wrinkling
