Hello ebayaddict,

Did you just delete the icon on your desktop pointing to MS Word, or did you uninstall it using the add/remove programs? I reckon you probably just deleted the icon. If this is the case, there is no need to worry, the program is still there and you can access it by clicking START > ALL PROGRAMS > MICROSOFT WORD.

If you want an icon your desktop , just right click the entry, choose "create shortcut". Now copy and paste this on your desktop.

Theres a couple of ways to retrieve it , one of them is to go back in time in your PC ; go to START then click HELP & SUPPORT , then click RESTORING SYSTEM , and follow instructions from there .
OPTION 2 : THIS IS IN CASE NOTHING ELSE WORKS , you have to perform a system RECOVERY , it will bring your PC like new with everything tha came with when purchased. hope this info works

try it again with the bootable floppy disk... if you have the option use fdisk /mbr and then format the computer and reinstall using the cd you have. the fdisk /mbr command will get rid of any virus residing in your master boot record.
