Question about Computers & Internet
Posted by Anonymous on
Most new computers come with a trial version of MS Office (60 day trial). If your trial period has expired you will need to buy a license. (Contact microsoft.com or any vendor that sells software)
If you have previously purchased a full version of Office and misplaced your CD (some vendors will sell you this with your purchase), get your documentation and contact Microsoft (and your laptop vendor). If the laptop is a work machine, contact your IT department for the license number.
I hope this helps.
(If you want a free word processor on your machine, look at Open Office at openoffice.org. If you are willing to work online, try Google's suite of office tools.)
