I had jxd in it songs are not playing i copied songs in jxd in audio file songs r appearing in jxd but not playing i pressed play button "file type error" coming why

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

Shame you've already paid for nero, there are literally hundreds of free programs that do a better job!

Try the majorgeeks.com site and look under cd burners, obviously ignore the trial software.

Without mother board cd ,how can we start music in laptop

I think you're talking about a CD player in the computer, right? You can download and play mp3 music files on software on your computer. Windows Media Player will do this. You can download free music from a site called Azureus Vuse. After you download the music files to your computer, you can click on them and they will come up in Windows Media Player and play. Good luck, hope I answered your question.

Won't play DVDs or CDs at all. Reads error code C-104.

To solve this Code 10 error, follow these instructions: NOTE: After removing these registry keys and rebooting, it may be necessary to reinstall any CD or DVD recording applications.
1) Close all open programs

2) Click on Start, Run, and type REGEDIT and press Enter

3) Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  • SYSTEM
  • CurrentControlSet
  • Control
  • Class
  • {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
4)This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry.Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.
  • UpperFilters
  • LowerFilters
  • UpperFilters.bak
  • LowerFilters.bak
5) If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, right-click on them and choose Delete

6) After deleting the keys, close the
Registry Editor

7) Reboot your computer

8) Open My Computer and check to see if your CD or DVD drives havereturned. You may also want to open Device Manager and verify that theyellow exclamation and error code on the CD or DVD drive is gone.

When playing C/Ds or DVDs the sound output is intermittant

1) Check the cables if you are connecting to an external stereo
or speakers.

2) Press control-alt-delete to launch the program manager, and look for other tasks hawking the system. Try increasing the media player's execution priority by one notch (right-click on the task in the task manager, and change the priority to "Above Normal")

VLC player, for example tends to cause music drop-outs when the computer gets busy with other tasks. Make sure the computer is powerful enough to play music on, and don't run big applications at the same time as playing music.

It should be at least a P4 at 1.5 GHz these days and
512 to 1024 MB of RAM

Also make sure that the CD / DVD player is up to scratch
in terms of reading speed, and that it is not damaged or dusty inside.

Finally make sure the CDs or DVDs themselves are not damaged. If so they can often be re-polished by a professional.

The actual data on a CD is stored on the label side, underneath
the label/reflector. The laser shines through the plastic. If the plastic is scratched the laser beam scatters and you get drop-outs and errors. But this can be re-polished. If the label is damaged, however, there is a strong probability that the data is gone. Also CDs and DVDs uses powerful error correction schemes and data re-dundancy to compensate for minor damage.
