Question about Cameras

1 Answer

My Ricoh Caplio 500G Wide keeps telling me to "fortmat Internal Memory". In order to do this it will delete all the pictures that are stored on the internal memory. I do not have a memory card with this camera. Is there any way to save these pictures?

I think your ricoh camera is just giving you that option. Don't choose the format internal memory and try to navigate away from this page.

You can get the pictures to a computer before erasing them.

Good luck.

I have a ricoh 500G caplio camera stuck in play back, I push the Green Arrow as per the instructions, but it will not switch back to the shooting mode.

When an error occurs with a digital camera, try switching it off. Wait till no light is burning or flashing and then remove the battery (batteries when there are more) Leave the battery out for a few seconds and reinsert the battery. After switching on, the camera should work normal. But if the error comes back, you should contact a service centre of your camera brand and make an appointment. (Or you could start looking for another camera?)

I borrowed a Caplio R5 camera, have taken some super pics, but couldn't download onto computer. So took the memory stick to Boots and their developer couldn't find the photos. Put the memory stick...

The Photo's are currently stored on the cameras internal memory, you'll need to transfer them to the card using the camera's menu options.

Failing that, plug the camera into your PC and switch on, a box should appear asking you which programme would you like to access the new device with.

Select the folder option, then click on and open any folders therein, one will be the camera memory the other the card memory.

Good Morning! How to get pictures from my Rihoc Caplio GX own memory to the computer? I installed the software, however if I connect the camera with the usb cable to the computer, nothing happens. To...

I am not familiar with this particular camera, but I can tell you how this works with other cameras.

The camera's memory should appear as a disk drive in "My Computer" (Windows) when you connect it to the computer with a USB lead, just as the memory card does. BUT you have to remove the memory card from the camera first, or you will only see the contents of the memory card.

My Ricoh Caplio R7 won't recognise the SD card anymore (and only saves to the limited internal memory). I've tried other SD cards and they don't work either.

1. Go into the menu and scroll to "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. 2. With the memory card out of the camera, go into the menu and scroll to "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.
3. If the pictures from the card are safely on your computer, format the card in the camera. 4. Be sure the slide switch on the side of the card is in the unlocked position.

MY a550 polaroid camera is saying card protected on the screen

When you take the card out, you are storing the pictures on the camera's extremely small internal memory. Is the slide switch on the side of the card in the unlocked position?

Have ricoh caplio rr660 have 3 photos in camera memory. How do I transfer them to memory card, do not have a PC cord

In the picture viewing mode of your menu, look for an entry for "copy". It should provide you with the option to copy from the internal memory to the camera card.

If your digicam has a memory card, try to use a card reader to transfer your pictures to your computer.
