my computer makes image copies, video copies, anytime I open a folder and try to open more than one file at a time, like when I'm editing photos and I want more than 1 at a time to work with.to do this I hold control and click on the files I want to open. most of the time it's ok but at times it just keeps making copies in the folder like copy pf copy of copy pretty soon a lot of space is used up and it's frustrating trying to delete them, just as it's frustrating trying to find the solution or explanation to this problem

I just want to know what causes the copies to be made . I know how to delete them. Am I pushing the wrong key or what? can I get it to reverse the action? what?

I would also suggest that when you select multiple files using the Ctrl key, please do not drag or move the mouse by pressing the mouse button. If so, the computer will think that you are trying to make a copy of those selected files.

Hello,

go to www.eusing.com download the windows washer. just click download and look for it. then once installed. open the program click skip. then click on the left hand side click wash settings. then check everything that applies. don't forget to go through each tab then click ok. send your pictures to the recycle bin and then click wash now. it will over write the pictures so they can't be brought back. you may also check into something to wipe all the space on your disk. i would guess you probably have a virus or something. although this could be an error as well.

Take care.

    Hello,

There are two possible reason for this, when system are affected by virus, such problem most likely will occur or when your operating system is malfunctioning, firstly, i advice you scan your system with an active and license anti virus and ensure your system is virus free, with this, you have limit the scope of the problem.

Secondly, you can also repair the operating system on your system by reloading the operating system and choosing repair because when the os malfunction, such problem can also occur.

    Take care.

How to upload pictures to computer

Insert the USB cable into the computer and the other end to the camera. Turn on camera. Most camera's come with some sort of software for transferring but it isn't needed. When plugging such a device into a Windows computer it will then download and install the needed drivers to access said device. Open Windows Explorer, not not Internet Explorer... on some versions of Windows it may simply be labelled as, "Explorer.exe"...

If you've never open that program before then it should be in it's default mode and not require any tinkering. There should be a left pane of info and a larger right pane. Locate the camera on the left pane. Double click it to open and keep opening folders til you get to your pictures which would show up in the right pane.

If the default view is libraries then you need the change view icon. It looks like a two panelled icon, a smaller left side and larger right side image, click it to change to panel view.

Select all images in the panel either by pressing CTRL + A to select all, or CTRL + L click on each image to select individual ones. After all have been selected, R click the highlighted images and select copy. Look at the left panel and look for where you want to copy the images to. Either My Photo's folder or make a new one. Once there, in a blank space in the 2nd pane, R click again and select paste and all selected images from the previous pane/panel will be copied to the new folder.

I have a laptop DELL WINDOWS VISTA i am trying to back-up on my system and when i try as soon as it starts it stops that is all i can tell you

Unfortunately most backups that users create don't work when you really need it, nor do most recovery discs that users create. Why not just copy your My Documents folder to a USB Flash Drive or External Hard Drive. That way you'll have all your documents, music, pictures and videos. Who cares about the other stuff? You can always install the programs again. Besides most of them you don't want or use anyway and they just bloat your system. If your system crashes just reload a clean and fresh install of the operating system and then the MY Documents folder that you copies.

How to copy pictures in digital frame internal memory

http://www.digitaltips.org/imaging/digit... ...
The following items about digital frames are from the link above where you may find additional information.

Memory
Another important feature to consider is how many images you can store on the frame. Most have slots for loading pictures directly from a camera's memory card. Make sure it accepts the same type or types of cards that your camera(s) do, as this will make transferring images to the frame significantly simpler. Also, look for a frame with a large internal (built-in) memory if you plan on loading lots of images for slide shows, videos and so forth.

Connectivity
With all the attention your digital frame will get from friends, family and members of your own household, you'll want to keep it updated with your most recent photos. Having multiple connectivity options can make this task a lot simpler. Most frames can connect to your PC using a ubiquitous USB cable, while Blue tooth and WiFi-enabled frames let you sync wirelessly from laptops, camera phones and cameras that are WiFi enabled. Many WiFi-enabled frames can automatically sync images from PCs on your home network or from photo sharing sites on the Internet, making it simple to keep updated.

If your computer has memory card slots, you can copy from the computer to a memory card.

If there are no memory card slots on your computer, purchase a Targus card reader at Walmart for $8.88 or another brand for less at Ritz/Wolf/Kit camera. Also, they do 3½ x 5" digital prints for 6¢ each on Tuesday and Wednesday.

CAUTION To prevent memory card corruption, keep batteries charged and don't delete. Wait for lights to stop flashing then turn camera off before removing memory. For card readers, double click Safely Remove Hardware. Select then click Stop and OK.

Have just been playing with this and found that it works really well, but you should first format the memory card in the camera because it adds files to the card you will need.

Next, take a picture of something with the camera.

Place the memory card in the card reader and go to My Computer.

Open the memory card and you should see a folder on the left (DCIM) that has your picture. Do not open the MISC folder on the right.

Double Click on the DCIM folder and you should see another folder (e.g.,100HPM417) which includes the name of your camera. Double Click on that folder and you should see the picture you just took.

When you copy from the computer to a memory card, that is the folder where your computer pictures must be copied. You may only be able to copy one picture at a time from My Computer.

One last thing, the file names of your pictures must not have any additional letters or those pictures will not be seen by the camera. Also, the file name format must match the file name of the picture you took e.g., HPIM1903. Rename files to the format of your camera photos.

If you have trouble with this, it may be easier to right click on Start and then left click Explore. Find and select the pictures you want to copy and then near the top left, click the X next to Folders to see a place to select Copy files. You can then select the memory card folder e.g.,100HPM417, that you clicked to see the picture you took and click Copy. You can copy pictures easier with this method.

Run services.msc and make sure Volume Shadow Copy is stopped. Then locate and delete any System Volume Information folders on the root of any volume that was previously being monitored by System Restore. You may need to alter
