Question about Vacuums

I have a Broan Nutone central vacuum. The power head seems to stall unless you lift up on the handle. I think I may need to change the belt but cannot find a place to purchase one to see if this is the problem Model number BN180 type 1

You are correct, you need a new belt. You can find belts for the Broan BN180 at www.vacbelts.com.

If the power head is spinning when you lift up the handle then the head could be blocked with dirt. You may need to undo the floor head to see if the entire brush roll is clear as well as the main dirt channel/turbine wheel. Ensure that everything is clear before assuming it may be the belt that needs to be replaced.
You may well have to call or contact the main company who makes Broan Nutone models for them to send out / query the power head problem.

Nutone CV353 does not shut off, think it is the relay board

You probably have a stuck relay. You can try tapping with medium force next to where the low voltage wires are attached to the unit using the handle end of a hammer. Even if this works it's time to replace the circuit board. Take the unit to a local vacuum repair center for service.

THE HOSE IS BEGINGING TO TEAR AT THE POINT IT CONNECTS TO THE HANDLE. DO I HAVE TO BUY A NEW HOSE OR CAN THIS BE REPAIRED? IF IT CAN BE REPAIRED HOW DO i DO THIS?

if you have a power head that the power flows through the hose you should not try and repair unless you are a service centre other wise most of the time you end up buy a new hose
but if it is not to bad some people just duck tape it

A Nutone CV-450 System with inlet nozzle switch issues

You are suffering a connection problem of the hose end fitting to the wall outlet. Either the hose is not aligned with the two pins in the wall outlet, or the pins in the outlet are dirty and not making good connection to the hose end fittting.

Motor won't shut off on central vacuum

Your relay is bad. This is very easy to change out yourself. There are several websites that sell this part online. Some websites offer free tech support.

NuTone CV353 Central Vac does not start when hose is plugged into

Try to plug the hose in sideways. So the top of the hose is rotated 90 degrees. If the unit turns on then there is something wrong with the hose. It might be a short or it could be a bad switch on the handle. If the unit still wont turn on I would think that maybe the low voltage wire got disconnected from the unit or there is a break in the low voltage wire somewhere along the way. Let me know if you plugging the hose in sideways works.

It sounds like the relay is bad. This website has a pretty good trouble shooting page.
