The BIOS for this board does not allow you to change the front-side bus (FSB) nor voltage. However, you can change the FSB on the CPU by connecting pins with either foil tape or a conductive pen used to repair windshield defrosters. For the Pentium e2160 I boosted the FSB from 200MHz to 266MHZ, raising the speed from 1.8GHz to 2.4GHz. The standard voltage and heat sink work fine. To see a photo of the pins you need to connect search for "pentium e2160 bsel 266 mhz" in Google images or try this link:
http://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/Hardware/CPU-Mobo-Ram/4coredual-overclock-sata2-sujet_795475_6.htm

Just remember to reset the motherboard using the reset jumper after you mod the CPU. On the first boot-up the BIOS will ask you if you want to use the 266MHz speed. Answer YES and continue.

I have not been able to get it to work at 333MHz FSB (3GHz clock speed), though this should be theoretically possible with this mother board.

Happy overclocking.

How to overclock my motherboard ?

there are 2 ways, overclocking using the bios to over clock the memory ( ram ) and also the processor ie changing the multipliers and other tweaks ( which should be in your motherboards manual ) that or using jumpers which are physically on the motherboard but later motherboards use the bios to tweak / over clock your computer.

Overclock an Intel E6300 on a GA-8I945GZME-RH motherboard

You need to check your BIOS. If you can overclock you will see a selection for CPU and speed in BIOS. If not there then your motherboard does not allow you to overclock your CPU.

Compatible processor

Yes, if you overclock you computer, I believe if you enter your bios of the motherboard, asus already has a pre overclock options. That is if your using a p4 2.8 ghz processor. You can not put a 3ghz processor and overclock it to a higher fsb, your motherboard will literally smoke up but, most motherboards probably can easily detect a non compatible CPU.
