HP Pavilion power problem?

The power is coming to System , but its not getting supplied to other hardware devices via motherboard.

The Problem can be with your motherboard.

Try removing the Auxilary port wire ,which is a small wire which is connected near the FAN , the wire comes from SMPS(power supplier) to the motherboard.

hope this helps

My HP m9080n computer just simply shuts off while in use and the restarts on it's own....it's doing this more and more - like 6 times this morning.

1. I would check all the cables to the computer to make sure there connected securely
2. if the cables are all connected good then the motherboard is going out & you need to back up the files that are important as fast as you can
one of my pc's the motherboard went out & took the powersupply with it

Hi,
Depending on the browser you are using you could get smaller text just pressing Ctrl and - If you press Ctrl and + you get bigger text.
If you let me know the browser you are using maybe I can help further if this does not solve it.

My Hp Pavilion Elite M9580a wont turn on. power light is on at the back but the light wont turn on

I recommend going through my guide it is entitled My Computer is not turning on!!! Is it dead!!! No POST!!!

To me, off the bat, it sounds like a dead computer mainboard. However only purchase a replacement component when you know for sure which component it is.

I removed the top cover and there were 2 wires attached. While sliding the cover off i broke both wires. What is the function of these wires and do i need to have them repaired

Its a chassis intrusion switch incase the wrong person decides to get inside the PC. It must be disabled in the BIOS otherwise you would hear it beeping away. Unless you think you need an alarm for that dont bother with it........cheers from Scott

HP Pavilion s7310n Slimline Desktop PC | how to change the power supply

This is an easy one, Purchase a new suitable PSU, probably from Dell, You will find a set of 4 screws at rear of machine, in line with PSU, undo these 4 screws. Unplug the plugs from all the connections, MotherBoard, DVD, Hard Drive etc etc. Then simply do the reverse procedure.. carefully reassemble..

Buzzing from hp desktop pavilian elite m9340f

The problem most likely resides within your fan. Try to clean out the inside of the computer with compressed air. Also check to make sure there arnt any obstructions touching the fan such as wires. This should fix your problem.
