Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Hello, if you get a sign on your desktop saying that the usb device is not recognised then there are few possible reasons
1. mp3 player is broken
2. your usb system needs to be reinitialized
To reinitialize your computers usb ports.
on desktop, right click on my computer and select manage, then
computer management window opens, on the left side
click on device manager
in the device manager click on the Universal Serial Bus controllers
Then I want you to uninstall all devices you see in there
by rightclicking and selecting uninstall, your keyboard / mouse might stop working if you are useing usb. so if you have a old ps2 connector mouse use that.
Ones all the devices are uninstalled you need to restart the pc.
ones the pc is restarted windows will begin to reinstall the usb ports, make sure the player is unpluged now.
After all the usb ports have been reinstalled and working, plug in the player agian to see if it works.
try another usb port if the same problem persists.
if the problem doesnt get fixed by this then there is a fault in the mp3 player.
