I have a ductless window LG airconditioner that keeps show P2; I have lost the owners manual so I can't remember what this means.

P2 indicates a circuit protection shut down. Turn the Unit Off & Unplug it for 15 minutes. Then plug the unit back in, and turn it ON. During that time out, the electronics should have reset and the unit will go back to your original settings. If this continues to happen contact LG Customer Support 1 (800) 243-0000.

Hope this helps you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

TH42PZ85U Panasonic that will turn on for a couple of seconds, not even long enough for picture, then it shuts off. Red power light blinks 2 times with about 3 seconds in between the 2 blinks. I am...

1. Reseating the connector P25 may solve the problem. If it does not.
2.Right before the unit shuts down, check the VSUS voltage at connector P2 of the power supply. If VSUS voltage measures zero volt, disconnect the connector P2 and SS11. Check the VSUS level at socket P2. If it is still low, replace the P board.
3. Unplug the unit andd disconnect the connectors A5, A6, and A7. Apply power to the TV. If a White screen comes up and all voltages check normal, replace the P board.
4. If the TV stays on after isolating the SC board, then replace the SC board and the D board; it is likely that the fuse on the D board is blown

Go to Diagnostic Test mode by:
Hold the lock button and Ress the start/pause for 10 seconds
1- When you see the display show up, press Power button to have the HO display
2- Now press the tart/pause button once a time to scroll through the letter until you see P2.
3- If you miss it, keep going then it will go back in a circle loop.
4- Once at P2, press lock button one to turn it on.
5- When it is on your water will drain.
6- To turn it off, press lock button again.
7- To get out of the deiagnostic mode, press the power button.
Happily cheerful.

None of the words are showing

Put the files on the root of the P2's folder. Unplug the P2. Leave it off for 2 mins, and power up.
Now, if this does not work, you probably need a config.dat file which you copy with the 2 firmware files onto your P2.

Open notepad
write:

YP-P2
XX XX UMS

Replace XX XX with the 2 letters in front of your P2's firmware (Settings>System>about). Example: EU EU UMS

and save as config.dat (remember all files)
