Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse

Plug in am i an idiot? i have a logitech cordless mouse that someone just gave me for my work computer. i'm trying to plug it in, but can't find the place for it on my cpu. it has two plugs: 1 is standard usb, the other is round. i can't find a spot to plug in the round one. if i just plug in usb, i can scroll up and down and click, but i can't move the cursor around.

No, you are not an idiot. I believe the problem is that the software 4 your mouse isn't installed properly. If it came with a CD rom then insall it that way. But there is another possibiliy. It could just the usb port on you computer. Either way you not and idiot.
