Can't find Lexmark 70 or 71 cartridge local are there other options to use of 70 or 71?

Aside from #70 and #71,#75 mono cartridge is also compatible with Lexmark X4270 printer. I hope this one's available in your area. Good luck!

Error code 0504


Problem Error: " Hardware Error 0504 " on the LCD Display Solution When you try to run the Clean option from the Ink Cartridge menu, the following message may appear: Hardware Error 0504.
To resolve this issue:

  1. Take both cartridges out of the printer.
  2. Switch off the printer using the power button.
  3. Disconnect the power cable from the back of the Lexmark X5150.
  4. Leave the power cable disconnected for 30 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the power cable and switch the printer on again.

What is error 1208 or 1203. my printer is saying both the black and color cartridges are missing when they are in the printer

Cartridge Error: 1203 Your print cartridge has a short.
  1. Press Power to turn your All-In-One off.
  2. Unplug your All-In-One from the wall outlet.
  3. Plug in your All-In-One.
  4. Reinstall the cartridges.
If this does not resolve the problem, see More troubleshooting options, or replace your cartridges.

I just tried to replace the black ink cartridge on my Lexmark X5470. After replacing the cartridge, it keeps saying there is an alignent problem and that I should removed the tape from the cartridge,...


Try this:

To align the cartridges:

1. Press the Options button nine times until MAINTENANCE appears on the display.

2. Then press the right arrow (+) twice; you should see the word Align.

3. Press Select. The alignment page will be printed out automatically


Next thing to do is reinstall the printers drivers and software. Click on the link below to get started:

Some menus on the X8310 and X8350 are repeated in the Copy Mode, Scan Mode, Fax Mode and Photo Card menus.
If you press the Menu button while in any of the above menus, two ancillary menus will be listed, Maintenance and Device Defaults.
To select either of these menus, press the check mark pattlnk_442006_155-selects.gif at the center of the navigation keys on the printer.

IT KEEPS TELLING ME THE RIGHT CARTRIGE IS WRONG, ERROR #1203, WE LOST OR OWNERS GUIDE


Here is what Lexmark says:

Cartridge Error: 1203 Your print cartridge has a short.
  1. Press Power to turn your All-In-One off.
  2. Unplug your All-In-One from the wall outlet.
  3. Plug in your All-In-One.
  4. Reinstall the cartridges.
If this does not resolve the problem, see More troubleshooting options, or replace your cartridges.

Also the cartridge that should be installed looks like Lexmark 32 ink for black and 33 ink for color.

My Lexmark X2600 printer will not print. A notice keeps showing up on the screen, telling me that the color cartriage needs replaced before it can print. I just replaced the color cartriage. Can you help...


go to the printer properties option.their go to lexmark solution center .in that option there is a option to get your cartridge get selected.if you will not get your cartridges selected.it will everytime show you the option to replace the colour cartridge.

go to---- lexmark solution center option ---- by clicking the ---printing preferances option ---- in that select the ---new cartridge installation option or change cartridge option---- in that option you select the proper number of your cartridge and it will ask whether it is new or old let the cartridge refilled or used or any you should always select the option new cartridges.then it will detect the cartridge and u will be able to print the colour from the cartridge.
