You should have no problems using this printer with your computer provided you install the printer driver on your computer.

Dell has not realesed a official Windows 7 Driver for your printer. You can check this site here for official drivers to get you going. Some people have had varying success with the windows Vista Drivers when using Windows 7.

If I find a decent "user created" driver I will post it for you.

If this is a new installation of Windows 7 and you have never used the printer on this installation, you will need to install the printer from scratch. If you have the installation disc that came with the printer, pop that into your computer and follow the installation steps. If you do not have that disc, you can look up your specific printer model and download the driver to your computer. Then use the Add Printer Wizard in Windows 7 to search for printers, and if yours is powered on (and both the computer and the printer are connected to your network) it should see it, and then tell it where you saved the driver.

try to upgrade your memory.

try installing the 32 bit edition. There are alot of compatibility issues with 64 bit operating systems, not just windows 7 64 bit either, Vista and Xp have the same issues
