There aren't many things that will trip the mains. If it happens straight away or 10mins into cycle it is probably the heating element dropping down to earth. If it is during the final spin it is most likely the motor. Check heater first. Hope this helps.

Hi my my Kic fridge tripping electricity what

There are two things with different answers- \'trip\' normally can apply to either the circuit breaker (~15-20 amperes) or the Ground Fault Interrupter where the latter can be part of a circuit breaker or a wall-mounted AC outlet.

Circuit (overload) breakers prevent fires when appliances (or others) and GFIs prevent death by electrocution.

The first (breakers), can trip when motors and transformers fail, the second (GFIs) trip when a faulty current path is detected that can allow hazardous AC voltages to be present on accessible parts.

Both circuit breakers and GFIs can fail to perform correctly and some training and a multimeter is required to accurately determine the source of the problem.

How do I get my Thor Freedom Elite outlets working? I have already pushed the reset button on the GFCI but stlll not working. any suggestions?

First, the GFI runs on house current aka shore power. Make sure you are plugged in! Most GFIs have a light showing power on.

Check your breaker - not a car type fuse - in the fuse panel. GFIs are nothing but a quick-disconnect in case of a short. (Quick description)

You really need a wiring diagram for this. Try and get one online or from the mfg.

Start by tracing back towards power source from GFI. Remove GFI and check for power on the wires. Be careful, it's 120vac house current. If you have power, replace the GFI. If no power, look at the diagram and proceed to the next outlet/GFI on the same circuit. You might have to go all the way to the power distribution panel. Sooner or later you will find the open wire. Might be nothing more than a screw vibrated loose disconnecting the power feed.

Mcd 1311st blowing circuit breaker

Generally microwaves should be on their own breaker. Hard wired ones are required to be by code.

If yours has a plug - make sure the plug is original with the unit, not added later or spliced onto hard-wired power leads.

Plug into and outlet rated 15A as the only thing on a 15A branch circuit and try again. If it still trips, try a 20A line and circuit. If it trips that, trash the microwave and buy a new one. Nothing is meant to be repaired inside.

Bosch AE-9.5 keeps tripping the reset

All resets and breakers trip with high heat.
Do you mean the tankless unit is tripping the 40 amp circuit breaker?
Or the thermal cut-out, located on unit, is tripping?

Is this a new installation?
Or was the tankless working before and stop working?

Copy following link to check wiring.
AE 9.5 requires 40 amp breaker and 6 gauge wire.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-Tankless-electric-water-heater.html

If the unit is tripping the thermal cut, -out, then product manual says to call Bosch or service technician.
Call Bosch 866-330-2729
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Bosch-Powerstar-AE3.4-7.2-9.5.pdf
Thermal cut-out can trip if water flow is too low.
Try changing power selector screw from Hi to Lo so only 1 element is ON. See diagram page 6 of manual.
Adjust the 'outlet service valve:' The manual recommends that a ball valve be installed between hot outlet and faucet. Adjust the valve so more water flows to faucet.
Remove aerator, clean aerator, don't use low flow restrictions or low flow shower heads, replace leaky faucet cartridge on single-handle faucet.

I don't have specific suggestion for tankless tripping breaker or if that is a circuit breaker problem or a tankless problem.

1) Move wires to another same-size breaker and see if problem persists.

2) Compare amp draw on tankless label with wire size and breaker size amp rating.
For example 30 amp breaker using 10ga wire is rated for 80% of listed amps or 24 amps.

3) If you are drawing full 30 amps, then 30 amp breaker is getting hot. Breaker trips with heat. Older breakers can trip more easily.

4) Before calling service technician, open following link for Bosch troubleshooting steps.

5) Be sure to read manual for yearly maintenance requirements.

6) Add a tempering tank for incoming cold water problem.

7) All gas tankless brands can be repaired by homeowner for $330.

MY BREAKER BUTTON WILL NOT RESET ON 2 TIMERS AT THE SAME TIME?

You posted under Intermatic plug-in outdoor timer.
If I understand correctly, you have two of these timers plugged into outdoor outlet, and the breaker for this outlet will not reset.

Cause can be 3 different problems
1) Load exceeds breaker capacity. Add up total watts and divide by 120V to see if breaker amp size is correct.
2) Loose wire or short in timers, outlet or wires going to Load. For example a broken outlet, or loose wire inside outlet box, or extension cord is under snow or water. Unplug everything, including timers, and try re-setting breaker again. Plug everything back in one at a time to observe when breaker trips.
3) Bad breaker: Move breaker wire to another same-size breaker and see if problem contuinues.

See if you have a grounded circut in the appliance. Check 1 flat to your volt ohm meter. Connect the other probe from meter to the other flat. And you should get a reading of resistance. Next connect 1 probe to the flat then the other to ground. A reading - indicates nothing until the next step. Now try the other flat to the ground?

1 Of these flats are connected to the nutural and possible feed through or back to ground in the appliance. The other one though should not read to ground. If you get a ground reading on both flat of the plug in someting is together that should not be.

If you dont get a readign try plugging in at a different outlet. A circut that has too much load will cause circut breakes to over heat and trip.

If it runs at a different outlet make sure its on a different breaker. If its on the same breaker it will probably start acting up again.

DOes this help? If so please rate me as high as possible If not please restate your problem to help me understand it better. Thnaks for using Fixya and Good Luck.
