THe hose attached to the humidifier does not reain the bucket. Is there a plug or something I missed

No, you didn;t miss anything. The drain tubing inside the hose connection on the back of the unit may be clogged. To solve this problem, turn the unit OFF & unplug it. Then disconnect the hose from the hose connection.

Using an appropriately sized, 18" long, plastic Zip Tie, carefully insert the tip of Zip Tie into the hose connection & tubing. Continue to push it in until you reach a bend in the tubing. You will need to gingerly work the Zip Tie past this bend, until it either bottoms out or you run out of usable Zip Tie. Then slowly pull the Zip Tie back out while rotating (twisting) it. This will breakup any clogs. As you reach the inserted end of the Zip Tie, be prepared, as some water may follow.Reconnect the hose to the unit , plug the unit in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. Set the humidity extraction level to 35% or Maximum if you have a manually controlled unit. Allow the unit to run, while you monitor the hose end for water flow. It may take 10 to 15 minutes for the water to start flowing, so be patient. Also, be sure the hose you're using is no longer than 48". Drainage relies entirely on gravity.

NOTE: If you don't have a Zip Tie, you may use something similar ( i.e.a long pipe cleaner), but NO wire coat hangers
.

Hope this helped you to solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Hello, I need the hose to drain water outside that fits the fridgidair portable air conditioner #FAPO9EP1Z1. Is there another small tube or is there any other hoses or vents that I need? I don't see...

impreston - with out the following parts , you really don't have "just the air conditioner."

1- Flexible Exhaust Hose
2- Hose Adapters
1- Sliding Window Kit
1-Foam Window Seal
1-Remote Control

The drain hose is something you supply. A garden hose, no longer than 5 feet will do if you want it to be a continusos drain, rather than drain into the water collectiong bucket. But, without the first 4 items lister above, you won't be able to operate the unit.

Here is a link that may be of some help to you, since you don't have an Owner's Manual.
http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Edison/2020252a0373en.pdf

You will beed to contact Frigidaire (1 -800-374-4432 ) for the parts you're missing.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Air intake via hose & window or intake from room only?

Hello artrey3 The answer is yes, BUT the unit will be exausting room/basement air outside ruining any efficency the unit is rated for. Also you will need makeup/fresh air in the basement. The unit exausting air can put the basement in a vacuum/negitive pressure pulling in air from the chimney!

Exhaust fan running slow

sounds like the compressor is turning off cause of high pressure. check the coil that the exhaust hose connects to, if dirty clean it. if the fan is not blowing enough air threw the coil the unit will build up high side pressure and cut out, but will turn back on when pressure drops. if that dont help, maybe the fan motor is bad or needs taken apart and oiled.

Hose missing

I am assuming from your description that the hose you are talking about is going from the DPFE sensor down to the exhaust. From what you are describing from your symptoms the catalytic convertor/s may be stopped up and the excessive exhaust back pressure keeps blowing the hose off.
It is very easy to check for a exhaust restriction on this vehicle. All you have to do is hook a vacuum/pressure gage to the hose coming from the DPFE sensor and measure the exhaust back pressure. It should be 1 psi or less at idle and when you go to wide open throttle it should be between 3-4 psi. Anything more would be a restriction which would most likely be a stopped up catalytic convertor.

Smeg dishwasher

You don't say what you're missing. Smeg maintains websites with contact info to get what you need. www.smeguk.com is in the UK.

What you should generally have is all sliding racks and a utensil holder. Included should be a drain hose and a manual. If a door panel is interchangeable, that is usually bought separately. Water inlet fittings are not included and neither is an exhaust drain connection.
