Try to reset the player. 1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power/Menu button. 3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player.
NOTE: Resetting will turn the player off while it is frozen.


Re-seat the battery. 1. Remove the battery. 2. Connect the player to the PC to verify if it turns on. 3. Re-seat the battery to ensure proper connection. 4. Verify if the player turns on.
NOTE: If the player turns on when connected to the PC but not stand-alone, the battery might be dead and doesn't receive a charge anymore.

Try this;

1.) Turn on your MP3 player with 1 AAA battery or by hooking it up to a USB port.

2.) Let the player discharge completely & retry after some time.
