Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Im trying to find out how to update my address

You can manually enter addresses by going to Machine Status> Tools. Add Address Book Entry and entering single entries there. Youcan also upload a .csv by browsing into the copier via the IP and going to Proprties> Services> Internet Messaging> E-mail> Public Address Book and Mapping the existing address book to your computer. It will be in a Comma Seperated Value format that can be Modified in Excel and reuploaded in the same area, but instead of mapping existing address book, Upload .CSV file to Address Book and exiting.

SOURCE: Xerox 7345 Address Book

The problem occurs, only when the CSV file was edited and saved by MS Excel. The solution: use only Notepad, Excel never!

I have a XEROX WorkCentre 5638. How do export the existing address book to add addition email address to it?

This model does not support exporting of the address book. However editing of the address book is very easily accomplished by following the steps below.
We encourage you to use our knowledgebase http://mrc360.com/XeroxKnowledgeBase

These instructions link is here: http://www.support.xerox.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?St=477,E=0000000000016114582,K=3962,Sxi=6,Case=obj(23672)

Solution : Add or Remove Addresses From the Public Address Book Using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) To add addresses:
  1. Open an Internet browser window on the desktop.
  2. Enter the IP address for the printer in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) window will be displayed.
  3. Click on the [Address Book] tab.

NOTE: If prompted, enter the username and password in the fields provided, and then click on [OK]. The default username is "admin" and the password is "1111".
  4. Select [Add New Entry].
  5. Enter the friendly name and the e-mail address for the new entry.
  6. Click on [Save & New] or [Save & Close].
  7. Click on the [Logout] link and logout of CWIS.
  8. Close the browser window.
To remove addresses:

NOTE: If necessary, enter the username and password in the fields provided, and then click on [OK]. The default username is "admin" and the password is "1111".

  5. Click on [Delete] next to the name you want to remove.

Master reset xerox 8560 printer

Your Administrator Guide book should have these instructions listed for you. It should be on the CD's that came with the printer.

If you have lost/misplaced them, you can download the guides from the Xerox.com website.
The steps below are what I did from my laptop as a Repair Technician:
1. Connect a crossover cable between the PC and system. To print an Event Log or Runtime Log:
2. Verify the system is Ready.
3. Use the system's control panel to enable AutoIP:
a. Select the system Setup menu.
b. Select the Connection Setup menu.
c. Select the Network Setup menu. 5. The page should now print.
d. Select the TCP/IP Setup menu.
e. Set AutoIP to On.
f. Exit the menu so the system is Ready.
4.
NOTE: To print the Connection Setup or Configuration page, select the system Setup
menu.
Reset the system to cause AutoIP to assign a new IP address (cycle power or select
Restart system from the Shutdown menu).
5. After the system's IP address is set, test communication by sending the "PING" com-
mand.
6. If the test fails, install a different cable and retest.

How to add name in the scan address book in xerorx 7232 mfp printer

Just go to machine information button, then tools tab, and in the right column scroll down until you find Add Address Book... When you edit a entry, the second line is for the Name.

This is in the User Guide. Just go to xerox.com.

If this does not solve, you need to be more specific

I get "Send Error (SMTP)"

It took me a while to figure this out. Your 3220 must be connected to ethernet (I havent tried it with the 3220 connected directly to the computer). Also, this works with a free email with domain Godaddy account, so YMMV.
1. Open your web browser and navigate to the 3220's CentreWare IS. 2. Click on "Protocol/SMTP Server" 3. Check "Host Name" 4. Type smtpout.secureserver.net/80 for server/port 5. Check "SMTP requires authentication" 6. Enter your username/pw 7. Click "Save Changes"
If you are asked for a username/pw to save the settings, the 3220's default are admin/1111.
Now click on "E-mail/E-mail Setup" on the navigation. Make sure your default [From:] address is your sender email address (they must match). Click "Save Changes"
As a final recommendation, I strongly suggest that you create your address book (E-mal/Local Address Book on the navigation) to make it easier to send by email, otherwise you will have to manually enter email addresses using the 3220's keypad (very slow!). Create groups for sending scans to several emails without having to select each individual email from the 3220's panel (also slow!).
Hope this helps.

You cannot save the e-mail addresses on this unit except by creating a .CSV file and uploading it via CWIS under Properties>Services>E-Mail>Public Address Book. A link to the instructions is below:
