Hi,

You can download the instruction manual in PDF format by clicking this link.

Detailed instructions for programming the Speed Dial numbers is given on page 15 and 16 of the manual.

You'll require Adobe PDF Reader installed on your computer to view the manual. If it is not already installed on your computer, download it free from: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa.

ok i have the directions printed out from pg 15 & 16. get the press func and oper, then press selct info, then press store auto, can do that. But it's at no. 4 where it says to press up and down arrows, do they mean the volume key on left side of phone?
then what do I press, it mentions the flex key
at #6, enter a phone number. Nothing happens,

I have tried several times previously to program this d...thing and have never gotten it figured out. Please help, i must need the retarded persons program guide.

    Many thanks for the reply.

Step 4 is for selecting the speed dial location/key. (You can enter the numbers 0 to 9 directly, no need to press the up and down arrows.)

In Step 5, enter the phone number which you wish to program (for example: 1234567890)

In step 6, just press the STORE/AUTO button.

    Thanks again

Hi I have a panasonic KX-T433 phone system which I am trying to put in speed dial numbers, we have to dial 9 to dial out does any one know how to do this using a 9 in front?

You have neither a 7730 (the category you asked in) or a 7433 phone sytem. If your phone is really a 7433, you have a TD phone system. Which "speed dial numbers" are you trying to program? System speed dials, are stored in system program 001 and consist of a 3 digit number (may be 2) with a "9" in front and the number as you would dial it from the keypad. Personal speed dial numbers depend on the button you're programming it onto. If it's a button with a light, you dial "2" in front of it. If not, you don't. So, Program 99, button, and either 29 + number STORE or 9+number STORE programs a personal speed dial.

There are other programs to store under the tone pad keys. Those features are covered in your User's manual for the TD system.

I need to dial a number to access my long distance. how do I program the number into the phone?

The Manual isn't showing any of those kind of futures. All I can recommend is to contact support directly by phone or through emailing them.

How to set speed dial on panasonic kx-t7730

If you are using the KX-T7730 phone on a Panasonic KX-Txx 308/824 system. From the Switcboard / Main telephone ( usually ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset on the cradle/hook :
1. Press PROGRAM * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234).
2. Now press 001 and then SP-PHONE. Enter the system speeddial location ( 00 to 99 ) or just press SP-PHONE again to go to 00.
3. Enter your line access number ( usually 0 or 9 ) followed by the telephone number you would like to assign for the speeddial.
4. Press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your setting.
5. To go to the next speeddial location press SP-PHONE and follow steps 3 and 4 again.
6. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode.
7. To dial the system speeddial from any extesion lift the handset and press * followed by the speeddial location ( example 00 )

So I guess that means you're not programming SYSTEM speed dial numbers. Those are programmed from the system manager or operator's station. Personal speed dials are 1-0 and are programmed per set.

How to store numbers for speed dialling on Panasonic KX-T7730 having only 12 CO buttons.

Well let's see. You have 12 CO buttons and 12 PF buttons, and at least 100 system speed dial numbers available.

Which ones are you looking for?

Depending on what Panasonic system you're connected to, the PF buttons program by pressing PROGRAM and the button, and dialing the number with a "9" or trunk access code in front of it then STORE. If you're connected to a TD system it's PROGRAM 99.

System speed dial numbers are entered from the main or manager's phone under system program 001.

I have a Panasonic KX-TD7895 cordless phone. The volume is so low that I often can't hear the conversation. Hitting the volume button does not resolve the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Common problem, but if your not a phone tech with a parts account, schematics, etc.., I recommend you send it in for repair than risk breaking it since it is such a valuable phone and one wrong move can ruin it beyond repair. If it was a $50 phone, I would say tear into it and give it a shot. But at over $350 you should have a pro do it and its much cheaper than buying a replacement or sending to Panasonic. Google kx-td7895 repair and you can find a private facility.

KX-TD7895 problem

If you were using this unit and it was functioning, then most likely the handset has gotten damaged, and you would need to send the handset and base into repair (its not programming setting or a field servicable problem). If your testing this unit for the first time, the base may not "match" the handset. You can tell if they match by looking at the code on the little white sticker on the bottom of the base, and it must match the code on the sticker on the handset which is under the battery. So if they match, and they still will not communicate with eachother not much can be done until its put on a diagnostics and testing. You can google kx-td7895 repair to find a facility. Good luck
