Question about Computers & Internet
My Easynote M5255 laptop will not boot up... All I get is a flashing curser on the top left of the screen... The initial page comes up with options for F2 to enter BIOS setup or F10 for network boot ... neither work.... F8 gives me the option to choose boot device... I tried booting from a bootable cd but system doesn't see it (no light appears on CD indicator) ... HDD appears to be spinning but no errors are displayed ... just the curser on top left of screen.... Any ideas thanks ... Martin
My laptop (parkard bell) powered up yesterday with a full battery and suddenly shut down, i have tried to remove the battery and power supply and press the power on button for 30sec but did nothing, any advice

Option f2, go into bios setup and see if the hard drive is listed or detected. Auto detect hard drive save and exit. System will reboot if the same error occurs then the hard drive master boot record is probably corrupt or the hard drive has totally failed.
