Question about Sub-Zero 642
Vacuumed it.....blew it out with air compressor....used a liquid orange cleaner degreaser followed by spraying with clear water....then blew it again with air.....light still comes on .....unit is 10 years old....i am out of ideas maybe some has one more idea?....(if i turn it off the warning light stays off for a day or two)....thanks JACK
Your condenser fan its running? When the vaccuum condensor light turn on, just means one or more compressor in the
unit has excessive run time, you need to have this unit checked, your
compressor(s) are running too long for some reason so might be a sealed
systen problem developing. Other possibility could be any leaking in the corciut and in this case you needed a new evaporator coil.
Also, I hear that this is a very common problem with Subzeroes... the warning came back on, and it mean there was something wrong with our sealed system... some kind of tiny leak or something. The repairman fixed it under warantee but said this is some defect with Subzeroes that is well known.
