Check the F1 fuse on the Low Voltage Power Supply. They are known to have problems with the metal clamps that the fuse snaps into start oxidizing. Because of this, the fuse doesn't make good contact to the metal. If this isn't the problem, then the fuser will need to be replaced.

Purpose
When a fuser unit related error (error code C41, C43, C44 or C45) occurs, the set value of the fuser status
counter varies, depending on type of error.
Displaying and checking the set value of the fuser status counter can analyze a cause for the error. If
any of "2 to 9" is set at the fuser status counter, the fuser unit will not be operated for safety reasons.
After the fuser unit related error is resolved, if "0" is set, the fuser unit will be operated as usual. If any of
"10 to 19" is set at the fuser status counter, the fuser unit will be operated as usual, even if "0" is not set
after the fuser unit related error is resolved.

E 352dn Mono Laser Printer: error 922 service fuser error...

Service Fuser Error appears when the fuser does not warm to the required temperature. For this error on this Lexmark model T632, the manual states you should power off the printer and power it back on, and if it is not plugged into a wall power point, change it to a power point mounted directly on the wall. Personally, I never got a Lexmark printer to work doing this, but this is in the manual. If this won't help, and the printer is under warranty, you should log it in with the servicing company.

If the printer is out of warranty, your next option is to change the fuser which costs around $90 on Ebay.

921 service Fuser error

921 Fuser Error indicates that the fuser unit failed to reach the standby temperature. Leave the printer off for at least 10-15 seconds before turning it back on. This gives the printer's engine board a chance to reset. Make sure printer is plugged in straight to the wall, bypass any surge device or power strips as this can cause a low amperage problem in your printer which can trigger a false fuser error. If this does not help, you'll probably need service on the machine since it deals with the LVPS, the fuser and the system board.

50.4 fuser error

Some suggestions:
  • Turn the printer off for 20 minutes and allow the fuser to cool (this may resolve high temperature fuser errors).
  • Re-seat the cooled fuser assembly (this may resolve other non-temperature related fuser errors).
  • If the printer is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, plug it directly into a wall socket or different circuit (this may resolve errors caused by an inadequate supply of electricity).
  • Try a different power cord (the current power cord may be damaged).
If still a problem, your fuser is faulty and needs to be replaced (typically not a user-serviceable item) by service. Hope this helps.

Error 58.04

This is from the service manual and should help you determine if you need to call in for service. If is in warranty I would anyways since the fuser would be covered if at fault.

58.04 ERROR To continue turn off then on. The low-voltage power supply has experienced an error.
1. Reinstall the fuser. Check the connector
(J1901) between the fuser and product.
Replace the cable or fixing unit if the
connector is damaged.
2. Reconnect the connectors of the fuser
control PCA (J303, J305) and the DC
controller PCA (J107).
3. Replace the fuser. See Fuser
on page 191.

980: Fatal Error

From the Service Manual:
*Service call
980:Error

*Error by media
clinging to the fuser

*Media has clung to the fuser.

*Power OFF
Replace the fuser unit.

Suggestion -
Before you replace the fuser, take it out and check for a piece of stuck label, paper, etc. You can spin the fuser roller by turning the gear on the side.

Hello

A 50 Service error is a fuser error. Turn the printer off for at least 10 minutes, then turn it back on. If the error is still there, you can try reseating the fuser, but be sure to let the fuser cool completely before touching it.
If you still have the 50 Service error after reseating the fuser, you might need a new fuser.
You can access the fuser by opening the rear door. It's located directly above the paper tray. There are two screws that hold it in place. Remove those two screws, and the fuser slides outs.
Hope this helps.

ERROR

921 Fuser Error Indicates that the fuser is below standby temperature when the printer is idle.
Error codes 920, 921, and 922 may display for a cold fuser failure. A 920 error caused by low line voltage can sometimes be cleared by turning the machine off and then on again.
Service Tip: Set the Fuser Temperature to NORMAL before starting this service check.
Manually spin the fan and check that
it rotates freely. Check the cable
connection to the engine board, J13
for correct installation.
