SOURCE: blades vibrating

The fan blades have to be balanced for it to run smoothly.
This website looks like it's straight from 1995, but the instructions are good and you should be able to rebalance your fan without too much trouble.

SOURCE: how to clean blades and/or how to remove fan cover for cleaning

I am certainly not an expert on this field; yet i have done this my self and this is what i did:

MOst fans have clips.
check where the from and back pieces attach. there should be several clips there remove them and voila.

if not there possibly check the centre pice of fan this may have a screw that holds front and back pieces together as well.

Pllease note you will also have to remove the legs from the side of fan as well. if the pic is the same one you have
Hope this helps

hello sir, mower will not start or run, does it have good spark, good compression,or only runs on full choke, engine surges up and down, are you getting fuel to the engine if not try this, your carb. is clogged up here is what you can do for a simple repair and other things if you want to, you will need a new air filter, spark plug, oil, if you want to a new blade also ,sears has a mini tune up kit that you can buy. now for the carb, empty fuel tank, place mower on side to where carb is facing up place a rag under carb to catch excess fuel, remove the bowl nut and bowl careful of the gaskets, now spray carb cleaner in the small port holes in the carb steam in the middle of the carb until clean, now spray the bowl nut holes until clean there are three, after cleaning put bowl on the same way you removed it with dip towards front of float, put bowl nut in, now while you have mower on side drain the oil remove filler cap to drain, put pan under spout, mower holds 21 o/z of 30 wt oil,you can remove blade to get sharpened or put new one on,to remove blade put a pair of vice grips on the body where the blade can stop and not turn it is usually a 9/16 or 1/2 socket, put blade on add oil,add new and fresh gas,you should be good to go,hope this helps, what i am telling you here is what i would do if it was here in the shop, any comments welcome, thank you.

I've purchased new blades for my Arctic. they did fine until they got clogged. what can i do to clean my blades? this IS a problem. if i can't find a solution i can't purchase norelco again. please...

It's a hack, but you can use needle nose plyers to let you pry open those razor blade heads to clean the blades inside the heads. My Arcitec shaver stopped working after being clogged, rather than pay $50 for new blades, I just opened it up, took out the blades and cleaned it with an old toothbrush and soap.

Why does my PC fan run continuesly?

Usually, there are two fans on a desktop PC. Some computer have three.

One cools down the power supply and it may be quite noisy after a while because the dust in the fan. The second one is to cool down the processor and usually it doesn't stops, it only changes its speed according the heat.

If there is a third one, it will stop when the temperature is cool enough for the system.

Only on notebooks the processor fan stops completely after a while to save some energy.

6.5 push mower runs hot and stops.Unable to restart even after cools down.

Check and address the following:
  1. remove the rewind cover and clean the cooling fins
  2. change the oil with synthetic.
  3. clean the bottom of the deck and make sure the blade is sharp.
If it still gets hot and shuts down the bearings may be seizing or the blade brake is mal-adjusted.
Remove the spark plug and pull the lever to release the blade brake, spin the mower over by hand, if you feel a lot of stiffness or resistance to turn make sure the blade brake is not dragging. This is not likely to be the case being you would have noticed it was very hard to pull over when cold..good luck.

My ionic breeze doesnt seem to blow any air at all cleaning light stays off Is this normal?

best best is to unplug the unit, and clean the blades completely with a damp cloth, then wait a few for the blades to dry and put them back in the unit. usually cleaning these every 2 to 3 weeks and they should be kept clean to be effective at removing the contaminants in the air. theirs alot of controversy over thease untis thease day's butthey do fuction properly if kept in top condition. also note that the blades must be properly seated in the houseing to work. safty feature that if bumped or knocked down it will cause the system to mostlikly stop working till you pull the blades out and put them back inj. i observed this myself with a model and they are failry good quality but a pain to clean. good luck with it.

How do you get in to clean the fan. we have mud dobber nest on the blade

Going to have to remove cover on roof. Will need to remove all Philips screws around near bottom. If you have/had wasps in there, take a real good look before you pull cover of, and try to do it on a cool, cloudy day, or at dusk, just in case there's more there. If you do it early in the morning, watch for slippery roof. Take a can of wasp/hornet blaster with you as it's not unusual to find more nests under that cover. Been there, done that, many times. Good Luck, keep me posted on results.

Excessive noise

I found that the buzzing can be removed by blowing out the unit, cleaning the blades and taking a long cotton swab and alcohol to thoroughly clean the corona wire - carefully - don't break it. The wire should be clean enough that the slider/wiper runs smoothly up and down the wire after cleaning. If it drags or is rough to slide, you will still have noise no matter how many times you clean the blades. The wire gets a "crust" on it.
