I suggest to purchase another brand , PROTRON no longer on the market , it belongs now to SPECTRONIQ,and their customer service is very bad, they will tell you that the BATTERY replacement is out of stock at the moment but its on order , Ive been like this trying to get a replacement for my PROTRON for about 3 years !! AJ
Danglefoot- This unit may be under an unfamilliar name, try taking the battery to a battery shop and maybe they can match the specs.Many batteries have the same connections and output specs.If you feel really technical you can take it apart and replace the cells,I can help with this. cooltekFeb"18/08
Headphone connector is usually designed to pass audio to speakers when the headphones are disconnected. A corroded or bent connector will lose audio. Does the headphone audio level seem ok? Try inserting and removing the headphone jack several times to clean the connector.
