There are a few different problems that can cause this. The most common is that the cpu is overheating. Try blowing air through the exhaust vent and see if your up time increases. The best way is to disassemble the unit and remove all dust blocking the heat sink.

I agree, check your vents. heat is a killer. Blow it out and try again.
