Viking VED0530SS oven. Door on top does not close completly

I have a Viking VED0530SS Double oven. The door on the top oven does not close all the way (seems to have come out of adjustment). It does not engage the light switch all the time. Is there an adjustment for this? I am very handy and can fix many things but need a little guidance on this matter. Manual or something? Thanks

You can download the user manual from this link which I uploaded for you.

On page #10 of this manual says that,
"The upper and lower ovens have interior oven lights that are controlled by one switch on the control panel. Push the switch to turn the interior oven lights on and off."

Hope this helps.

If your oven door has gotten bent or warped (maybe you rested something heavy on it…), you need to remove the door, disassemble it, and straighten it. You can lift most oven doors off of their hinges by opening the door several inches to its first "stop," and lifting the entire door straight up. If the hinges have become worn, damaged, or bent, you probably need to replace them. We recommend replacing both hinges at the same time, to prevent uneven wear of the undamaged hinge.
If you are looking for the manual of your device, you can check the below link to search for the manual of your device,

The link contain almost all manuals of all device.

Take care.

Check the door hinges for any damages.
To remove the door to check for any damages, Open the door completely and move the actuator on the door hinge until
it locks up. Grabbing the door from both sides, pull it up to release
hinges.move the lever "A" to position "B" to lock the hinge.

Grab the door with both hands and lift it up to release the door hinges.

Remove the lower drawer (this may be more difficult if you have a
    warming drawer).

    3. Remove the bracket onto which the door hinge lowers (I did it by
reaching up inside the wall of the oven, holding the bracket, then
removing the screws holding it to the oven frame). This is the piece
that became bent from the door being pushed down, supporting a heavy
load, or opened forcefuly (I got it used in it's sprung condition). The
spot where the door bracket pushed onto it bent inward, allowing the
door to wiggle in the up position and kept the springs from closing the
    door completely.

    4. Bend the piece back to its original shape (I laid an old rag on my
workbench and placed the bracket on the rag with the dent facing up.
Using the punch and hammer, I tapped the dent down so the metal was once
    again straight or flush).

    5. Attach the brackets back onto the inside of the frame of the stove
(this took some patience, since i had to hold the bracket up inside the
space between the oven and the outside panel. There was insulation in the
space, so sleeves, gloves, and eye protection are a good idea here)

    6. Lower the door back into place on the reshaped brackets.

    7. Open the door completely, and pop up the "broiler door holders."

    8. Close the oven door and bake some cookies.

    Take care.

Both oven doors do not close properly. lights stay on & can't heat properly with doors not closing tight. is there an adjustment for these doors?

We have similar Jen Air double oven and with the same problem but only on the lower oven. The doors are interchangeable and the top door fits fine but the lower door will not close completely at the top. It does turn out the light but has never cooked properly. I checked with several appliance repair shops and the hinges are not adjustable, but since one door closes and our other doesn't it is not a hinge problem, just a defective design.

We let this go too long and are out of warranty so I doubt Jennair is going to do anything. I hope someone post a solution but it is clearly not problem with the henges but with the receptacle they go into.

The "Self Clean" will run for quite a while up to 4 hours I believe, during this time, the stove heats up to about 900 degrees!! and during this time the Door is automatically closed via special locks. It will allow you to open once it is finished, it should "Signal" this event.

My Wolrd Pool Double Oven Door will not close all

same problem, I tried to adjust the level and tip the oven back, but that didn't work either.
Two options exist, change the hinges, or close the door with a hammer handle between the door and oven. Place the handle down low by hinge, then push the door closed very firmly to pull the hinge outward a bit.
