adjust the trim on the controller please watch some beginners videos. In this instance the problem is yaw which is left and right rotation on a helicopter it is affected by the speed of rotation of the tail rotor relative to the speed of main rotor and its gyroscopic effect. the floor cause weird flight effects on helicopters to get the trim precisely set it must be at least 4ft from the ground. but initially just get it to where it is controllable.
You cannot easily change the frequency these helicopters operate on, they are not designed for multi channel use. To change their operating frequency you would need to find and replace the small crystal inside the helicopter and also inside the remote control.
The 3 channel you are referring to is the number of functions (channels) you can control on the helicopter, not it's frequency channel.
The batteries on the Helicopter need to be fully charged to take off.
And important: to recharge the helicopter fully it needs really good base unit batteries.
I find all this a waste so - I used a wall power supply to supply suitable power to the charging bases of these helicopters give more consistant results than using batteries.. Just make sure you are using a 9V DC wall transformer (6 1.5v batteries = 9v) and that the polarity is correct.
Insert the batteries into the battery slots in both the controller and the helicopter.now you will be able to control the rc helicopter whenever you want by just switching on the remote control for the device.
couple of things possible. 1) change outlet. 2) call customer service for the helicopter (should be on manual in contact section) 3) the helicopter has a loose cable connected to the battery inside the helicopter so you probably need to sodder it.
Hi,
The spinning of the whole helicopter is cause by the rotor at the rear.
Look and read the manual on how it could be adjusted. There is an adjustment on the main board, that controls the speed of the motor.
if it doesn't work, you have a defective motor at the rear or the little electronic ic servo on the board.
Hope that helps you out!
Thanks for using Fixya!
Hi This type of helicopter uses a fixed pitch blade. Have you recently replaced one or all the blades? If the blades are correctly positioned then once the motor comes to speed, the pitch of the blade creates enough lift to overcome the force of gravity. The problem you're having can only be that the motor is not coming to speed or the blades have been replaced but the pitch is now at the wrong angle.
