If you do not have the disk that came with the new device, you can download it for free. just go to the manufacturer's website, locate the driver for your operating system and download it and run it. J.

This is related to a missing drivers for a piece of hardware in your computer. Often these messages are due to features that users do not even use, and I would suggest leaving it alone unless there is some hardware feature which is not working for you.

Alternatively, you may go to the manufactuer's website for you computer, and download all of the drivers on the driver page and install them.

This should rectify the "new device" message.

it seems that you havent followed the installation procedure correctly. most of the devices comes with written installation directions.
now uninstall the drivers form your computer, disconnect the device from the computer and reboot the computer. then install the driver of the device first(at this point dont attach the device to the computer) after installing the driver than attach the device to the computer. the operation system will automatically detects the device and install it, or if you've asked for the driver click the automatic dectect and install button.
