Hello,

first of all , did you reset the lamp counter? did you clean the dust out of the projector? it may be overheating as well. if the lamp looks ok, you may have just blown the ballast.More likely a faulty ballast. Check connections.if otherwise and you are not able to check it yourself
contact skilled personnel to handle to check the ballast..
Hope this helpout....

Replacing lamp on nec projector

http://www.necdisplay.com/Products/Storefront/

Go to the link, the NEC has an online store, or you can use their link to find an authorized reseller.

Usually there is just some sort of door on the bottom or side held in place with a screw or two. Refer to your owners manual, or download it from NEC in pdf format.

Blinking status light

Replacing the lamp with an old one was helpful for me. Good news: the projector itself not faulty. Bad news: I have two projectors with the same issue at the same time (the lamps were replaced also at the same time) after only 400 hours of running.

The picture shows dark

Hi there

Take out the Projector's lamp and check for any black marks ( almost looks like veins ) on the inside of the bulb.

If you spot anything on the lamp , your lamp will need replacement.

If you can't see anything - then you might be in for a new Mainboard.

Very expensive exercise !
