Connected Wireless keypad

Somebody in the office seems to have played a practical joke on you guys. They may have interchanged the mice and the keypad. Just interchange the mice and keyboard, so that each belongs to the rightful place. If that is not the case, the ID's have mixed up. Not to worry. Reconfiguring the ID's is not a big deal. It is easier to refer to the manual on the link below than writing each step. Again not to worry. it takes only a few minutes get this back to normal.

Targus mouse not working

I checked the Targus website (http://www.targus.com/us/default.asp) for any other useful information. Use the "support" option at the website for a good troubleshooting guide for your particular mouse. Is this a new mouse? The mouse you have uses the native windows drivers and should be auto-recognized by XP. Have you kept your XP updates current? My concern is why XP could not install the software drivers needed(You would have gotten some type of an error message). Check the "details" link shown with the error message. That should point you in the right direction---rick

Try holding the NumLock key down before you connect it.
Or, after you connect it as you normally would, hold the numlock key down for 4 seconds or more.
The window that popped up can be closed without worry because it's designed to set up a full keyboard.
