There is a problem with your windows 8 PC's installation, which has stopped it from booting correctly; hence why it starts in 'startup repair', and tries to diagnose your PC. Hold the F8 key while booting your computer to go into the startup menu for Windows; click Advanced startup options; and select Restore my PC; which will reinstall windows.
This may or may not work for your machine, you may have to hold F2, F10, or the Escape key to go into the UEFI setup and go into startup options from there.
Hello If you have an Nvidia or ATI graphics card then they are probably the problem and can only be replaced by replacing the motherboard. Apart from that this seems to be a motherboard problem ,have you tried with only the battery and vice verca.
You may have a bug. You may start by going to control panel and see how many programs are trying to start up at the same time. When my laptop does that I normally go to the control panel and stop programs and keep them from turning on at start up. you really dont need all programs to start up at the same time. This may cause freezing and longer times to start at start up.
Turn the computer off, then start it back up and press the f2 key repeatedly til a blue screen called the BIOS screen comes up, press the right arrow on your keyboard so it goes to the advanced tab. go down to speedstop and disable it, press f10 to save changes and start computer over. Now it will work no freezing :)
This definitely sounds like a heat problem. The system fan should cool it, but there may be a lot of dirt in the heat sink or along the path that the fan blows air. The first thing I would try is to get a can of canned air and blow it into all the vents under and on the side of the computer. If it is dusty, keep your face away.
You didn't say, but if you let the system cool down for a while (maybe 15 minutes or so) and start it up again and the same thing happens, it['s definitely a heat issue.
