Click on 'View' at the top left cornern of uor Internet Explorer page. Now point the cursor over 'toolbars'. That should open up a small menu. Now select the toolbar that you want by clicking on the appropeiate entry. You can check or uncheck whatever toolbars you want this way.

If you are satisfied with my 'solution' or have no other questions, please take a moment and close the problem by assigning a FIXYA rating for my 'solution'. I would be very grateful for your show of appreciation. Thank you for using FIXYA!

Can't find favorites bar

  1. Firefox
    • 1 Launch your Firefox browser.
    • 2 Right-click on a blank area of your browser's search bar. This should cause a menu to pop up.
    • 3 Review the menu's list. You will see an item in the list called "Bookmark Toolbar." If it has been accidentally disabled, it will not have a check mark beside it.
    • 4 Click the "Bookmark Toolbar" option. This will put a check mark beside it and place it back in your browser's top menu.

I deleted too much from my Yahoo search toolbars. I am now down to 2 lines at teh top and the place to enter the web address isn't one of them. How do I get that capability back?

To change the Toolbar settings:
• Start Internet Explorer, click View and then point to Toolbars.

• If there is not a check mark next to Address Bar, click Address Bar to place the check mark. If there is a check mark next to Address Bar, click Address Bar to remove the check mark, and then click Address Bar to place the check mark.

• If the Address bar is in the upper right corner and not available, right-click Address, and then click Lock the Toolbar to remove the check mark.

• ClickAddress, and then drag the Address bar where you want it.

The toolbar disappears at the top of the page when the browser opens. It stays hidden until I close the browser.

Click 'View' from the menu bar then select toolbars and then click on standard buttons your toolbar will be back to its normal place.

You probably have IE in the full screen mode:
hit F11, it should bring it back to normal.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY AOL TOOLBAR. MY QUICK START, SEARCH, AND FAVORITES BUTTONS ARE NOW IN THE MIDDLE OF MY AOL TOOLBAR COVERING UP THE REST OF MY TOOLBAR ICONS. THIS IS RELLY ANNOYING. CAN YOU HELP...

TRy Clicking and dragging the tool bars Back into place. You do thins by left clicking the tool bar in and open spot (usually at the beginning or between icons) and without letting go of the mouse button move the tool bar to a new location
