Hi

You would need 4 Hard disk drives in total. you would need to create 2 RAID 0 (striping) and then Mirror them (RAID 1). to elaborate, HDD A&B will be at RAID 0 as well as HDD C&D. after, you would have to Mirror your two RAID 0. (raid 0+1 is also known as raid 5)

Hope this helps.

Just bought the G-Speed Q 8TB. Hooked it up and the red warning light on the bottom is flashing. Is there something wrong with the drives?

The flashing red light is indicating that it is building the RAID5 parity information. If there is an alternating amber/blue lights on one of the drives blinking back and forth with the red light it is indicating that it is building/rebuilding the RAID5.

Hello
It is possible to replace that strucked buttons. All of them are microswitches. To do this, you have to open your tV. and pull out the board that contains these switches. There are so many types of pin configurations for these switches. Desolder it out one amoung them, and go for a similar type and pin aliingment. Replace all of them at one time, as these swiches are cheap to buy. Make sure about the pin confuguration and its height when buy. Insist on its quality too. Ok.

Memory full due to photos in wrong drive

Hi! It seems that your out of harddisk space. That's why your computer memory also maxed out because your computer memory gets virtual space in your harddisk. Try to free up your harddisk or delete the unwanted files. GOOD LUCK

I have a HP DL 380 server and its configured as domain controler.... and has a raid5 configration .while we are woking it makes a restart and when its restarted windows was unable to boot asking for NTLDLR...

Are you able to get into the array configuration and make sure the logical drive is still intact? If the logical drive is gone, then your partition may be lost. If you are able to recover the logical drive in your array (which you should be able to if the RAID5 striping was stable) then you should be able to recover your data. You can get into the array configuration during the boot up sequence.
