My motorola q has a password and i cant dial out or use the phone ,how can i reset it

You would need to contact Motorola directly and mail it in to them in order to have it reset!

The only thing I know of is to call the phone service provider you are with and see if they can give you a master password to unlock it. Or you could always do a master reset, but you will lost any info stored in your phone.

A hard reset will clear everything out of the phone and reset your password. To perform a hard reset on a samsung take out the battery and removve the sim card and power on the phone. when it comes back on type in *2767*3855#. The phone will go thourgh a reset process and when it comes back on take the battery out again and put your sim card back in and power on. It should be completely cleared including the security password.

on a moto q there is no way to reset the password once you forget it its lost. If u want to reset the phone completely it will unlock the phone but all info on phone will be lost, To reset power the phone off, hold the center navagation key and press the power button, once the phone is powering on let go of the power button keep holding center button, you will get black screen with green letters saying master reset

try to reset ur phone or set it into the factory defaults if that not working u shud return the phone to them cuz this is not a quite easy problem

have the phone p/w reset and take the phone to a mobile center and ahve the p/w removed

at first u switch off ur mobile...& den pres *,3,dial & on botton at the same time........it is type hard format........ur phone will be fresh like new

take the phone to a mobile repair center and the code reset back to it's default.

you can try master resetting the phone then try it again.

Press MENU when the password is asked and input 000000. If the security code is changed, the only way to reset the password is using the P2KAE application.
