Question about PC Desktops

I'm installing a new HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-one printer , scanner, copier. I pressed the on button but the flashing exclamation mark light was on, so I pressed it again, probably too soon. The machine remained on, however, but, though it had some action in the back, it failed to print the alignment page and does not print anything, although it makes some printing or other sounds in the back.

First. make sure that you have removed all the plastic backing and wrapping, etc. Make sure there is nothing that may obstruct the normal working.

Select your Operating System, download the driver, run the driver, then add the printer from the Control Panel.

Put in new ink cartridge printer asked me did I want an alignement test print I said yes now every time I want to print some work a test print is printed as soon as I try to print any weork off could


After installing the new ink, it will print a paper for U. put that paper in the scanner and press scan. It's a self-calibration. If that's not the problem, please state what the problem is.

I have just brought a hp photosmart c5280 printer but have been trying for half the day now to download the disc which wont, goes so far then stops this is a fairly new pc running vesta i have cleaned out...

I had a similar problem recently... You have to actually install the scanner software. You probably only installed the print drivers, but not the scanner software. If you don't have the CD handy, go to www.hp.com/#Support. In step one select "Download drivers and software (and firmware)". In step 2 enter your model number (photosmart C4385) and then press "go". It will lead you to a page to select your operating system. Follow that link to download the entire CD (large file).

When you are installing the software, make sure to install the scanner software too.
