Question about Frigidaire 20.5 Cu. Ft. Top-Mount Refrigerator - Black
New light bulb will not go on. Problem occurred before but then the light resumed for 2 more months.
The button that moves when the door opens opens and closes fully, but does not affect the light.
We recently had power outages that took 7 hours to fix.
The Frigidaire (freezer on top) is over ten years old.
The owner is past 74; owner just went back and tried the new bulb again, this time screwed it in harder. ON CAME THE LIGHT!!!

I have the same problem with my frig in the basement. I get condensation and resulting mold on the top outer surface and related areas. This is from the surface being cold, with resulting outside moist air condensing on the cold surface. Best solution - spray/wipe the surface with a bleach and water solution, let it soak a few minutes, then wipe off with a rag. Add a drop of dishwasher soap to a mixture of roughly 4 parts water to one part bleach. Repeat if necessary. Do this as often as the problem seems to creep up again. Good luck!

SOURCE: Refrigerator door won't shut
Check to see if the door gasket has forzen water that is preventing it from collapsing like it should and wedging the door open. This would most likely be on the hinge side of the door.
Also make sure the gasket is not bent or warped and binding as it closes.
Let us know if you find nothing wrong there and we can look further.

your house may be settling and now the refrigerator needs to be tiloted back slightly. take run the adjusters on the front in a little until the doo closes by it self.

The refrigerator needs to be perfectly leveled side to side dn should pitch back slightly. Also look at the plane of the doors, that is to say that they should be squared to the cabinet. If they are sagging, you may need to adjust the hinges.
