Question about Samsung CLX 3160fn All-In-One Printer
I checked the network cable on the Printer but it's connected to a powerpoint on the wall but I can't seem to figure out if it connects to the computer or not. But everytime I try to scan, it comes up saying "NOT AVAILABLE"... HELP please!
I got the same thing when I tried it on my machine. I use the SmarThru web admin program to scan to the network. It should have come with your machine on a disk. The computer can not detect the printer for a number of reasons and this can be resolve by check the connection between the printer and computer. Please make sure you are using the recommended USB or Ethernet cable (network connected). Check the cable connections to the printer to make sure they are secure. For more information, see the setup documentation that came with the printer.
If connected to a network, make sure that the printer is connected to the network. Print a network setup page and check that the status shows Connected. If the status is Not Connected, check the network cables, and then try printing the network setup page again. Contact your system support person to make sure the network is functioning correctly.
