The loud clattering noise you hear is the main bearing it needs replaced.the main reason for the repair men doing a runner is its not an easy job and takes time and know how.if i was you i would get some estimates on this job,i would guess they will be high because no one wants to do it.Would you not consider a new machine???????anyway good luck.adrian,,,,

The machine do not usually distribute the load evenly around the wash tub so that your help is needed at times this happens. Rearrange the wash load so that it is evenly distributed around the wash tub then restart the process the machine was doing.

UE Error Code for LG Washing Machines

If you are getting a UE error code from your LG washing machine then you need to know what is causing this code. This UE error code is caused when there is an unbalanced load condition sensed by the washing machine. There are a few things that can cause this and ways to correct it.

If you are doing a load of wash that is too small, this can allow all of the wash to be on one side of the drum. Single heavier items will not work well and will cause this error when spinning. Very light single items may work, but for heavier items you will need to add more to the load to get it to work properly.

If you have a load of heavier items like blankets, and sheets, you may have to stop the machine and spread them around the drum evenly before it will spin properly. Even jeans, shirts, and pillow cases can sometimes all end up on one side of the drum and cause it to become unbalanced. After spreading the items around the drum evenly, try to restart the spin cycle.

If you hear your washing machine slowing down and tumbling a few times when trying to spin, it may be that you machine has a option on it that tries to redistribute the load on its own if it senses an unbalanced load. The machine will try this a couple of times before it will stop and give you an error code.

If you need to reset the code at any time you can do this by unplugging the washing machine and then holding in the start/pause button for 5 seconds. Plug the washer back in and the code should be clear.

I've had my Kenmore Oasis HE for 4yrs. Several months ago, it started getting unbalanced in the final spin cycle (ULcode) I've tried smaller loads and like fabric loads, niether has made a difference. The...

UL = uneven load.

Re-distribute clothes and re-try.

If still no-go... the load balance sensor is likely to blame.

Vibration of wash machine

Hi!

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary. If there's a loud thumping noise during the spin cycle, the load of clothes has probably gotten unbalanced. Open the lid, redistribute the clothes in the washer, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Kenmore 22422 seeping water from under machine

look underneath the washer.there sould be a hose there.sometimes an unbalanced load can cause the hose to rub up against sharp metal when the machine vibrates.mine had a zip tie that held the hose to close to the edge of the machine which had some sharp metal and it put a small hole in the hose.hope this helps.

LG WM2077CW (UE error code)

For "ue" an unbalanced load is sensed three times; re-adjust your load in the machine. What is the capacity of your machine, you could weigh your dry clothes........refer manual.

For e1, it could be a water sensor problem. Check to see if the inlet valve is okay and not clogged, water shd be in good pressure. If this is okay, open up behind after taking the plug off the wall. There is a thin tube coming from the switch area to the outlet pump area; disconnect this from the top carefully and blow into it, it should be free; if it is clogged you will hav a water level problem. Unblock and refit carefully.
.....& rate me if helped.
